| This graph was made to help those watching Urasawa Naoki's Monster understand it better. Be warned if you have not yet watched Monster this will spoil some parts. Added to the complexity of Monster, a key element is that name of charaters; there are characters with multiple aliases, characters who share names, charcaters with no real names. To use this graph roll the mouse over the connecting lines and the character names to read more information about them. You can click and drag and name around to position it in a better place. If you notice any mistakes or have any details to add, please post a comment below. Also, I've only completed the graph for the first half of the story but I have plans to come back and finnish it soon. | |

| What about the deaths of Grimmer and Wolfe? | |
| Posted by: Anonymous on 2006-04-18 18:24:14 | |
| The connection between Suk and Anna is missing. You know, when they met in a a bar and Stuff. Grimmers Death isn't mentioned (Ep72 or 73). Bonapartas Death isn't mentioned (Killer: Wim's father). | |

| Thankyou, everyone, for your helpful comments! I've corrected some mistakes that were brought to my attention along with numerous spelling mistakes. I've fixed Roberto; Roberto dies in ep73 after he kills Bonaparta. I thought Grimmer lived but I double checked and he does die after a homicidal rage (right at the end of ep71) so thanks a bunch for that. I have not yet changed Wolf because I cannot find where he dies. I remember his life being in danger but I thought he lived because the wine he drank really wasn't poisoned. Who killed him and when? Help anyone? The connection between Suk and Anna is not missing, because Suk never meets Anna (see the connection between Suk and Johan). Thanks for finding the error with Bonaparta. I can't believe I missed this one! Bonaparta dies in ep73 but the killer is Roberto not Wim's father. Wim's father (Herbert Knaup) shoots Johan (Johan lives of course) when Johan has a gun to Wim's head. Thanks again! I will continue to update this graph periodically as more errors are discovered. | |

| hi, I think this graph is great! Here is more info: -General Wolf dies naturally on episode 57 just after seeing the "Landscape of the end". -The Baby dies on episode 64 killed by a stripteaser.(a Christof Sievernich's thug) There are some more importants characters: -Petr Capek: Bonaparta's helper. He continues the experiment after Bonaparta escapes to Ruhenheim. Appears on ep 58, I think. Dies on ep 67 killed by his men. -Christof Sievernich: Politician and Johan's "apprentice". He planned to control the world together with Johan years ago in Kinderheim 511. Appears on ep 59. I think the attorney Fritz Vardeman is pretty important too, as he helps to clear Grimmer's suspicions at the end. And his father was a friend of Bonaparta too. regards | |

| I think you forgot about the connection between Bonaparta and Nina, which is rather central to the series, in my opinion :) | |

| The connection between Tenma and Johan has no description. | |

| Bonaparta actually read the stories to Nina/Anna. She later told everything to Johan after escaping from the Red Rose Mansion. Somehow, Johan made them his 'own' memories and Nina/Anna forgot everything. | |

| Yes, Anna and Suk are not connected. Anyone wondering why should read the connection between Johan and Suk. Can anyone tell me how Richard and Gillen are connected and in what episodes? It has been a while since I watched Monster. | |

| Hi! Just wondering, how did you find out that Johan is also known as "Franz Heinau"? | |
| Posted by: Aviva on 2008-06-30 00:21:52 | |
| Aviva: In the anime version (not sure on the manga version) Tenma finds out about Johan's past since the accident. In doing so, we learn about some of Johan's aliases. | |

| This is an awesome graph, really helps me see the connection between everyone. There are a couple missing deaths though (the baby is killed by that prostitute; doesn't wolf die too? Can't remember) | |
